People who travel for new sights and experiences would eventually buy souvenirs and pasalubongs. For serious and heavy shoppers it’s better to weigh in at the hotel before trekking to the airport to know if you need to pay for excess baggage or not or try to be a little bit early at the counters to try to negotiate excess baggage problems. Unless you’re traveling with a friend and family, it’s not safe to ask from strangers if they would allow you to share their baggage allowance. Hotels can help you check your baggage weight. Just ask for it. If you’re traveling by boat, it’s better to lump together your things to three luggages at the most. Anything more than three would be more challenging to monitor and safekeep.
